4. ferro silicon 72 is to produce ferrosilicon 72 by using three raw materials: silica, blue carbon or coke, and iron oxide under conventional smelting conditions. It is the organic combination of iron oxide scale and the escape gas from the furnace mouth to promote the violent reduction reaction of SiC. It increases the air permeability of the charge, eliminates SiC and SiO2 and insoluble substances at the bottom of the melt pool, and creates favorable conditions for the deep insertion of electrodes and the expansion of the crucible.
